Hilary is a professional author and illustrator of children’s books. She was born in a small village called Hutton, near Preston in Lancashire. Hilary has held a number of major art exhibitions all of which were reviewed by the national press. She has professionally illustrated for Royle Cards London and for Smith and Settle Publishers, Otley. She has taught both English and Art & Design in schools and colleges, including individual tuition of phonics to children who suffer from Dyslexia. She paints oil paintings with a palette knife of various cityscapes and landscapes. She is married with two children.
